Valerie Arnold co-presented with Attorneys, Elizabeth Bryant, and Jill Frieders, Monday, November 4, 2013 for the Minnesota Continuing Legal Education program. “Minnesota Continuing Legal Education is a not for profit 501(c)3 corporation established by the Minnesota State Bar Association to provide the highest quality educational experience to Minnesota lawyers and judges in an accessible fashion and at a reasonable cost… Minnesota CLE has strived to be an innovator in continuing legal education, especially in methods of delivery and use of technology. Monday’s Webcast, part of the program’s Family Law Series, covered recent updates made to the Child Custody Deskbook, specifically regarding the chapters on Motions, Appeals, and Interstate & International Issues. Ms. Arnold’s presentation highlighted her updates to the 21st chapter of the deskbook, ‘Interstate and International Jurisdiction’ and recent international cases that have caught the U.S. Supreme Court’s attention.
